Great job Pablo! I already noticed there were bumps on lap 1 out of the pits :) :drive1:

Thank you Dave. The CanAm71 mod, in my opinion, is the best mod to run Interlagos. I did all the tests with the Porsche. But Jonny´O SudAm carset is also a must if you want to go "historic".
I really enjoy reading the Niki Lauda article about Curva 1 and 2. In 1980 I watched the friday free practice right before Curva 1 with a flag marshall who was a friend of mine, and I can tell you that the only two drivers that went C1 and C2 abolutely flat out  were Patrick Depallier and Didier Pironi. All the others lifted a bit.

Nice article davef.
He said he went T2 in 5th gear, wow!. And sometimes if you have a good balanced car flat out!!... that surprised me!!  :o,   I thought they brush the brake pedal just a hair and changed to 4th gear. Chris, in formula vee it would be flat out! what a sensation!

I really want to thanks Ginetto and Remy for some textures I used in this track, that belongs to them, full credits to both

Thanks to the creators.

Very well put the bumps matter. To say, the main passing place at Zandvoort, i.e. at the end of the s/f straight, in the real world was bumpy like hell right on the right side of the lane, making life a lot more difficult for the overtaking guy!!!

The next question I have now is: why and how GPL physics cannot cope with a "over-bumpy" track? Is it a matter of "frequency of feedback" between the car and the "floor" or what?

Asphalt surface in the original GPL is very smooth; now, with Nigel's work on the latest patch, it can be done but it is very tricky to get it right since you eventually need to cut the sections in very small pieces. :)

Ginetto,

This brings up your work on the Sebring tracks. I am always impressed of how you made the bumpiness on those runways.

Wonderful track! Thank you guys

BUT there is no way to host it on my server in windowed mode yet, as it has to run with Direct3D @ 16bit.
Is there a server version available?

I would like to second Cookie's comment. Great track! It won't run on my server though. Is there a server version coming?
Warren

edit: it will run in D3Dv2, but not in a window. That means I can't use the server for anything else while I'm running the track.
