It should be like this, else you have the resolution still set by display...

I think it is to do with Windows 10 dpi settings. Normally I have my screen set to 175% otherwise everything is too small on my 4K screen. When I set it to 100% I can get 1920 x 1080 working properly. It crashes when I try 3840 x 2160 however. I'll try some more experiments!

My native resolution is 3840 x 2160 (a 4K panel). It is a Dell P2715Q.

Weirdly I can get 1280 x 720 to work okay but not any other resolution.

Quick math shows both are the same ratio. My guess is the display only shows the right image if you keep to a 16/9 resolution ratio.

It is definitely the windows scaling. I have tested on two computers and both work correctly when set to 100%. Just need to work out how to automatically change to 100% when I play GPL now! And back again when finished of course!

Getting the monitor to change to 100 percent when you startup G.P.L. is completely dependent on the monitor circuitry.  :)

It is a Windows 10 scaling issue, right click on the exe (gpl.exe) and choose properties, then click the compatibility tab then follow the instructions below.

In Windows 10 Creators Update (the latest one) it is a bit different as they have improved the scaling method. In the Compatibility tab of the exe, just tick the Override high dpi Scaling Behaviour and choose Scaling performed by Application.

If you are using Gem and any mods, do this for the exe's that your mod uses i.e. gpl69.exe for the 69 mod.

Then bingo!! The screen is not offset any more!
