I haven't tried this track yet...So, even though the track addon itself is lost forever, what exactly was the addon??? Is it Mt Hood by any chance???

That's the link for the GPL track. I gave you the link to the real track. I had assumed, maybe wrongly, that you were asking if F Caballero's addon was for Mt Hood and I just pointed out that it is for Mont Tremblant/St Jovite and that you would already have downloaded the track from the Track Database section. I don't recall a Mt Hood for GPL.

If I have confused you, pls accept my apologies. :cap:

In reference to the circuit St. Jovite-Mont Tremblant:

Sheepherder said,
"... Is it Mt Hood by any chance???"

Danger-rodent said,
"... I don't recall a Mt Hood for GPL."

Mt. Hood is not a circuit, it is a mountain in the Pacific northwest of the USA.  I'm sure sheepherder was curious as to whether this reference was to a circuit named 'Portland'.

There's a mountain in the Pacific???

Somewhere northwest of Oregon??? Off the coast of Alaska maybe???

...Bwahahahahaha!!!...

...Ahem...There was post-talk here a week or so ago of a Mt Hood horizon for some track; someone [Scotty?] said they would try to come up with one...

But then there was a glorious screenshot of a snow-covered peak in a background that looked good to me, but no one else liked it...   :(

I'm sure Mt Hood is very nice, but that other one looked pretty close...   :cap:

Ahem... there is a region in the USA called 'the Pacific northwest'.  I was not saying northwest of the USA.  I said, "... in the Pacific northwest of the USA."  Which is where Mt Hood is located.

I know that you know that I was just injecting a bit of humor in this thread...   ;)

Interesting fact: Did you know that the Japanese actually tried to incendiary bomb this area during WWII??? A seaplane carried by submarine across the Pacific, surface run of course, but the resulting fire was much dampened by the wet climate and no one paid the attack much mind...

There was a brief blurb about the pilot visiting the Northern CA area and meeting with some of the people, on the History channel one night...

There sure was a lot of strange sh*t going on back then...     I'm real glad I missed it...   ;)
