So, no bugs in the beta? Can I make this a releaseversion?
Sorry to bother, but has this been released anywhere?
I don't think it's been officially released anywhere yet Ginetto. I am a big GPLRA fan and I haven't seen any announcements about it.

But the 7.91 Beta version 2 which several of us were testing is still available from post #68.

Edit: Looking at post #53, it looks like Martin was intending to work with the F2 mod team to include it in GPLRA. I don't know if that ever happened, maybe that's why there was no official release, or maybe he got sidetracked by RL issues?

I sent Martin all the necessary information to include both the '69 Extra and F2 mods in GPLRA about two months ago.  He apparently has forgotten or has been busy with real world stuff.

Ed has the same information for GPL Rank and I understand that he has included the '69 Extra mod now.  Hopefully, it won't be too much longer for the F2 mod.

Martin, I seem to have run into a problem using GPLRA to update my GPL69xRank times on the GPLRank site. Using the normal "PB" method no longer seems to work for me. It doesn't matter if I'm updating an old time with a better one, or uploading a new time for a new car at a new track, the update doesn't work. The only way I can upload times at the moment is to upload my Plax69.ini file to GPLRank using the "Submit my times" function.

I've put some more details HERE.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Beta 2...

Martin, if you have a bit of free time, please add F2 and CanAm support to GPLRA! Thanks.

And if you could also look at the issue with 69x mod lap uploads not working, that would be great! See post #83 above for details.

Guys, I believe Martin is no longer active in GPL so I wouldn't expect any further updates to GPLRA.   :(

He did the most recent update earlier this year out of the goodness of his heart.

A few months ago, I eMailed him about adding support for the CanAm and didn't receive a reply.

He might pass the source code to the GPLPS.

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't see the GPLRA on the GPL Links. :book:

Hi, fellas!  :)

A short question re GPLRA.  Where does this programme get its information re the track length?  For instance...

I've just run some laps at LeMans Bugatti and checked a lap in GPLRA.  I opened the graph window and noted the track length posted upper left in the map window.  It says 4422 metres.  The track.ini file says 4422.5316m in a reference line.  There's a listing above this for the track length in miles stated as 2.748.  That translates to 4451.76 metres by my math.  This is a near-on 30 metres difference.  I changed the reference line value to just 1000.000 metres as a test to see if GPLRA would read that and I wasn't surprised to see that it wasn't.  After all, the line was preceded by a ';'.  The map still said 4422 metres.  OK, then...

Where/How does GPLRA establish that value as seen in the track map of the graph window?

Yeah, the *.trk file is either loose within a track folder or within the particular track dat file.
The most 'current' version usually being the loose file, if there is one.
