Richies back!

I know a lot of people are looking forward to the continuation of my video series, and it's here! I begin the 1966 season now and plan to upload a new race each week! I hope it is an enjoyable video and series for everyone, I'm putting a lot more work into these than I did the previous ones, so let me know if there is anything else I can improve on!

Here are the list of races I will be running in this season!

Now the start of the 1966 season is finally upon us! Richie hopes to get more aquainted with his new Brabham team in this first non-championship round of the season. Watch to see if he can get off to a good start!

Great, you are back!
I intend to do all those races from 65 on (maybe some 64 tasman too) full race lengths, you ve been a great appetizer for that :)

Still dont know how can you keep focus on the track and talk so much during the race, I could never do that.
Great racing and series!

Great race!  I'm certainly excited that the series is back!  I'm thinking that Richie gets his first win this year.

Great race, and as ever, one of the best adverts for GPL on the web. Really illustrates the work required to drive the cars in this sim and i also think show how good the AI can be compared to other sims.

Keep up the great work.

Somehow I can't post this link in the comments section, so I'll just drop it here instead. The link to the updated Syracuse track: http://srmz.net/inde...8898

Some nice and clean racing again!
As suggestion, not sure how complicated it could be, maybe getting some replay with TV camera after race, when a significant overtake or accident have happened.

Do you use NPT override?

Nice, 3rd place not to shabby. Hope you get to the top step soon. Enjoyed watching the race. Keep them coming.

Looking at his lap times. I'm going to guess he has it set at 1.0.

As always, a very enjoyable 20some minutes to spend on any time of the day. I also would like to suggest something: would you be willing to change the fov (field of view)? When we are able to look in the mirrors, close racing is even more exciting. Either way: thanks a lot for driving and recording again!

I do use NPT override, but I also use the AI scaling per track. It's tough to say how I tune the AI. I find if I only use the NPT override that sometimes the AI start behaving unrealistically (more than normal). I generally do a hour of practice, see where I sit, and adjust the AI accordingly. If I know I'm turning really good laps at a track I'll make it so that I have a potential to win. If I know I could still improve more, I set the AI to be a bit more difficult.

I make it very hard on myself. I set Jim Clark to turn my PB times. I've never been able to beat him when I do that, because who can do their PB lap after lap.

Then again. Who am I to beat Jim Clark? Slowing down the AI just so I can beat them has never been any fun for me.

Thank you! Good battle with Siffert.

Your video reminds me once more that I want to have spring updates for Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Monza 1000 km. BRDC Trophy was in April, Race of Champions at Brands Hatch was in March, Monza 1000 km was in April - in this time grass is not so green and trees are 'naked'.

Would be nice to have accurate updates for each track and for each race throughout 1965 - 1969. I wouldn't object

Hey Jake, could you give me your impressions on Track ir?
After all the FOV arguments Im thinking on using it to allow me get a lower FOV and still be able to look around.
Does it work well with GPL and the mods? Now they are in the 5th version, am afraid of the newer one losing some previous compatibility.
