I have a question about mods for GPL - how do you manage them? I installed only 4 and already managed to break my game. And now I'm thinking to make separate installs for all mods. Is it a preferable way to deal with all the mods and tracks versions?

Have you tried this GPL Easy Installation Guide?
http://www.gplworld....tion-guide.html

I have all mods installed in one GPL installation and never broke anything.
But some prefer seperate installtions for each mod.

Yes, I followed the guide and everything worked fine until I started to apply some patches in GEM+. And now I don't know how to revert them back to the original state. Point #2.4 in the Easy Installation Guide is not very clear for me.

Quote

In case you need a new patched mod .exe (gplc**.exe), just delete your mod .exe (gplc**.exe) in your “gpl” folder and let GEM+ create a new one by closing GEM+.

How does this work actually? BTW, I have 3 different *.exe files for 65 mod (gpl65d, gpl65g, and gplc65) - which one should I delete?

You said you applied patches in GEM. I suspect that's your problem. Tell us what patches and exactly how you installed them?

Well, I'm having some troubles with 2 patches: 'AI Speed Control' and 'Pressure Bug Fix'. But I would rather not talk in detail about it here (not right sub-forum for that I guess). I just would like to know how to properly apply patches in GEM+ and also how to revert the back.

EDIT:
To be more precise: The question is - do I need to delete some mod's *.exe files everytime I applied a patch?

Pay attention to the last sentence.

Thank you very much for posting that link. It's exactly what I wanted to know.
