Footage of the 1965 South African Grand Prix in this video;

https://www.youtube....h?v=0jBjkwdrpFQ

On the back of this, I have extracted the camera file from the track.dat and reworked it a little to show more of the enhanced scenery supplied by F Caballero, Tom Clark, and Gliezeit et al. The cameras also emphasise the seaside location as demonstrated in Gliebzeit's horizon file.
Assuming there is no cam file in your eastlndn track folder, just paste the attached file directly into the eastldn folder. If you dont like the result simply delete the file.

Really nice camera work, deegee.  I find these cam sets to be your best, so far!!  :)

The East London track is showing it's age. Some tweaks to the horizon texture panels to more properly align them could sure help.  Also, much longer FB adjustments can be used now to eliminate all of the pop-up / pop-down issues - as most users have computers strong enough to handle the extra calculations.  I will put this on a back burner.  ;)

Thank you, deegee.  Your camera angles give a "being there" feeling that puts one right at the track.

Many thanks for your comments, Greg, particularly since the "being there" feeling is exactly what I aim for!  :wave:

As you say, there are a few graphical glitches which are beyond my skills to correct, but I have taken them into account when setting the cameras so that hopefully they are not too intrusive. Glad to see that you are happy to put this on the back burner - thanks :drive:

Once more, I'm perfectly right with the words of Gliebzeit about your work with these cam files...

Keep going Deegee !!! :)
