If you were to recreate the '67 championship season as best you can without using any of the stock Papyrus tracks in GPL, which tracks would you choose?  Suppose you limited yourself to tracks that were built from scratch.  Ideally each of the tracks is in the right country, and has about the right length and other qualities.  The Belgium GP is easy - just use the marvelous Spa67 track, which was built from scratch.  Any suggestions for the other 10 tracks?

Thanks

There were some posts/threads about this awhile back, maybe when discussing what to include in a new demo?
Someone put a lot of work into posting a pretty good list of close enough alternatives to the Papy tracks.

Rather, maybe someday some track artists, say perhaps by 2035 or so, will complete the portfolio of bespoke tracks for the 67 season?

hehe
:D

As a TotalRanker who has driven just about every track available for GPL since 1998, in my opinion this can't be done with anything approaching an acceptable degree of realism. As an example, there's no other UK track which captures the essence of Silverstone. It's a totally flat, airfield-based circuit with medium-to-high-speed, constant radius corners. Some people call it boring, but not me. IMHO it's unique. And Germany. Is there really any other German track which looks and feels like the Nurburgring? No, of course not. Although there are several versions of Nurburgring in the track database, they all have subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) changes in the details that means that they just don't feel right for the 1967 season. They're still good to drive in their own right, for an alternative experience, but if you're trying to recreate 1967 then just rely on the original with some of the superb scenery updates which have been released over the years.

And the same goes for all the other 1967 tracks. Just drive the originals, they are definitely the best.

You might consider non-championship tracks and 1967 formula 2 tracks with F1 drivers as european alternatives for a 67 season and USAC 1967 tracks for the US/Can alternatives:
Non-championship: Brands Hatch (SIL), Killarney (KYA), Syracuse (MON), Jarama (ZAN), Oulton Park (MEX), LeMans Bugatti (ROU)
F2: Hockenheim (NUR), Pau (MCO).
USAC: Riverside (WG) and St Jovite (MOS)
