Inspired by another thread (http://srmz.net/inde...showtopic=12830) about everyone's favourite tracks, I just wanted to see what all of your favourite cars are for each mod.

I'll go first with the mods that I have played to a significant degree:
1955 F1: Ferrari 555. I hated it at first. I found it extremely twitchy. Then I drove it at some high-speed cirucits and from then on I just love it.
1965 F1: I'd have to say the Cooper T77. I just find it to be an overall well-behaved car. Very nicely balanced. A good all-rounder.
1966 F1: McLaren M2A. From pure behaviour, I would say Ferrari 312 or the Cooper T81. But I just have more fun driving the McLaren. I well remember nailing a lap at Brands Hatch, placing me much further up the grid than I expected to be and just feeling extremely satisfied.
1967 F1, original and historical: Ferrari 312. The car that I've driven most of all in GPL. Once again, it's the most well-behaved car. It does not tend to understeer as the Lotus does and it's quicker than the Cooper, which I otherwise like.
1969: Ferrari 312. This is more of a sentimental thing. I haven't driven the 69's in quite a while, but I seem to remember it being slightly twitchy, which I didn't like at first but like the 555 then tried at another circuit - this time MontjuΓ―c - and then falling completely in love with it.
Overall, for me the general trend seems to be that I like cars that have a slight tendency towards oversteer and, on a more sentimental level, that comes with a badge of a prancing horse.
