Has the website for the Tasman tracks gone offline? I keep getting an error message when trying to access it.
It seems to have gone, I know a couple of the missing Tasman tracks are in the pipeline so hang around here and eventually there will be some news (who wouldn't hang around with the amount of new mods being worked on  :idunno: )
That is a shame. I am looking for 3 tracks that were hosted there: Lakeside, Levin and Wigram. Do you know where I could find those?
Thanks!

I'll send Ben an e-mail and see if all is well with him. It might be that he has lost his host and perhaps Bill can help out here and get Ben's site back up and running, or Ben might agree to it being mirrored here or something. He put a lot of work into it, and it is a natural place to host the GPL Tasman tracks along with all of the background information that Ben researched. Which reminds me, I wanted to contacted him in any case as I have something else that is almost ready now which I wanted him to add to his site. :)

If that doesn't work, then plan B is that I will ask Bill if he can set me up a small website on one of his servers where we can host the Tasman series tracks again.

Rob

I have those tracks on my hard drive at home (I'm at work ATM), I will post them here for you when I can, I'm sure nobody will mind me doing that

The e-mail I have for Ben won't work, as it was linked to that webhost I guess, so is not active. :(

As a short term solution, thanks Craig for posting those files there. Ultimately I'll want to put them on a new Tasman tracks website, (along with the other ones we are making :)), so I'll drop Bill a line to see if he can set me up somewhere to host them. My sense of order want them all to be together in one place. :)

Surfers Paradise is "near" to release, it will come with 4 alternate sky versions : 1968 Tasman light overcast, heavy overcast, before storm, and 1969 sunny.

Here is a preview of the default 1968 Tasman race and the 1969 sunny version. The horizons will be available as "type 7" mips also :)

ed76 has made some great Track Add-ons to disguise existing tracks as some of the missing Tasman tracks.
He also has some Program Covers to go with them too. They can be found at this thread.
