i have the route of the race : Brescia - Verona - Venice - Padua - Rovigo - Ferrara - Ravenna - Forli - Rimini - Pesaro - Ancona - Pescara - L'Aquila - Rieti - Rome - Viterbo - Radicofani - Siena - Florence - Futa Pass - Raticosa Pass - Bologna - Modena - Reggio Emilia - Parma - Piacenza - Cremona - Mantua - Montichiari.

there is any info about the roads they used?? numbers of roads, i want to recreate the route with google earth but there is too many roads that link this towns.

After downloading some tools, carsets and patches i decided to download the tracks of GPL. Went to the GPL Track Database and i found that some of them are redirected to SRMZ and then redirected to srmz.net. The problem is that the site is fallen. Also trying others tracks i found dixierunners.speedgeezers.net and forum.rscnet.org fallen

I read that hackers attacked some of these sites so I want to ask if this pages will be back, also if there is back up of all the files.

As i am a new player of this game i'm afraid about all the tons of work spent in that mods is lost.

Is there any hope for new players to enjoy that wonderful work?

anyone aware of any data pages for the 67 f1 cars of GPL?
i was testing for our next league race in Ferrari.. and noticed
(pribluda) that the engine temps within 3 laps are over 200dg F ...
climbing as high as 220 at Reims.

then i tested some laps in the Brabham.. and after the same # of laps saw it
was only 185 or so.

i know one is 12 and the other 8 cylinder.. but is there a danger line list
for each car?
like the Honda engine we know is fragile to begin with... and not going past 10k,
on the tach does wonders for its longevity..   but Ferrari?
i don't think i've ever seen such high temps so fast!
in real life, did the cars have engine temp LIMITS?  what happened to the engines when the temps were exceeded?
if you slow, or just reduce speed for a portion of a lap, the temp drops of course, but it climbs again soon as you start to race hard.

am i being overly concerned? before Pribluda, this information wasn't so obvious and i was unaware, i just raced on.. now i am curious, and ask if my throttle use is abnormal.

Hello, i'm new on this site and also new on GPL, just registered a few weeks ago, and i thinks the best way to introduce is giving thanks. When i bought the game, i thought it was dead but my surprise when i discover that it has a lot of mods and an active community as also online racing and some leagues.

I fell in love since the 1st minute i tested it. I really like it.

So i want to thank all people involved in this game (creators, admins, modders....) making this dream posible.

I'm pleased seeing that a 15 years old game is still alive
