well, I'm sorting out several problems.
The last one relates to the impossibility to run ahead out of the pit or the starting grig after loading some tracks. With other tracks this poblem does not happen and everything goes well. But in certain tracks I have the problem.
Funny also in those cases, that if I start driving backwards and then I change to forward, the car will response and I will manage to go ahead.
What is this related to?

Do you mean that it's as if you have the brakes on fully?

Yes, something like that. The car seems to be stopped by something.
Btw, before posting I re-installed the CPU fix patch (I don't know why) but did not restart the PC. Now, after restarting, I am experiencing a big slow-down (as if the CPU were overloaded) as well in those tracks that were working correctly before.
I am a bit crazy trying to put everything in order. Maybe I will make a new clean installation.

I've had that happen sometimes and I think it might be the controller calibration that needs re-doing.

Mmmm, I don't know what is going on. Everything is getting worse. Now I can't run in any track.
I supposed before this was caused maybe to the mix of programs installed one after the other and then re-installing after re-installing
So, I changed the name of the original folder to be GPL2 and I repeated the installation process using the GPLPS installer and following the guide, now to a new GPL folder. After installing GEM+, the 67 patch and the latest rasterizers I accessed again to GPL but I still noticed the same problem, that is I can't run in any track because it looks as my CPU is overloaded.
I can repeat the installation process preceded with a full uninstall of the current GPL and previous GPL2 folders and programs installed, so that I am sure that the new one will be "clean", but I don't really know if this will really work.
Any ideas? I am running on a 2GHz Pentium XP, and so far the performance is much poorer than on my previous 400MHz Pentium 4 98SE.
